"Tico" Guayaba Cookies

Ingredients:

185 grams of flour
68 grams of icing sugar
150 grams of margarine
2.5 grams of vanilla
10 grams of cornstarch

 

Guava jelly

300 grams of Jungle Pulp Guava Puree
15 grams of cornstarch

Preparation:

  1. In a pot, heat the Jungle Pulp Guava Puree and mix with the cornstarch until thickened. Remove and cool.
     
  2. Preheat the oven to 350° degrees.
     
  3. In a blender, place all the ingredients and mix at low speed until you get a consistent dough.
     
  4. Form a block with the dough on waxed paper and refrigerate it until it is manageable and not soft.
     
  5. Stretch the dough to the desired thickness and cut in the shape of the cookies. Place them on a greased tray.
     
  6. Bake them for 10 minutes until they are well-cooked.
     
  7. Join two and fill them with guava jelly and so on with all.
     
  8. Serve and enjoy it.
