Who we are

Dulu Pickled Hearts of Palm is a brand created and distributed by Foods From The World, a Costa Rica owned company dedicated to bring forth leaders in the area that supply products made consciously. Costa Rica is the largest grower of hearts of palm which supports communities greatly. Cultivated Hearts of Palm has helped diminish the destruction of the forests in Brazil caused by merchandising of its wild version . Dulu is a word from the Bri-Bri declining language in the Costa Rica Talamanca region and it means "intense blue"(like the Morpho butterfly). Hearts of palm is consumed by the Bri-Bri indigenous people as well as by those living in the Blue Zone of Costa Rica.
